The keystone of the Drupal community is sharing, not only code but also experiences and knowledge. We'd like to share with you some of what we've learned and done.
Drupalcon San Francisco

We are all excited about the upcoming Drupalcon in San Francisco. If you've never been to one before, its a great experience. Thousands of the most talented developers, project managers and people who want to use Drupal in their businesses people meet for 5 days of sharing, learning and getting to know each other.
If you've ever considered using Drupal, this is a good way to get to see the full scope of the community. Our advice is not to miss the evening events and the "Birds of a feather" (BOF) meetings - these are the best ways to really get to know the people really behind the code and discuss the future direction of community.
I'll be holding a joint BOF with Jakub Suchý from Dynamite Heads about embedded media in Drupal on Tuesday from 2:45-3:45 in room 206. We'll spend some time discussing the work that we are doing for Brightcove to create a new module for easily integrating their video hosting service into Drupal sites. If you have any topics you'd like to discuss in this session, let us know.
